Hamburgers and Home Fries


1lb 80/20 ground beef
1 large green pepper
1/2 large red onion
1 T chili powder
1 T garlic powder
1 t pepper
1 t salt
1/4 c Italian bread crumbs
1 T oregano
2 T Worcestershire sauce







1. dice onions and green peppers, saute them until cooked through.

2. Combine seasonings and herbs, bread crumbs, sauteed vegges, and Worcestershire sauce with ground beef.

3. Form patties (makes about 6 to 8 depending on how big you make the patties). chill for 15 minutes before frying.

4. Fry in preheated skillet with a table spoon of olive oil until cooked to desired temp.

5. Top with favorite cheese, I used sharp cheddar.

Home Fries

3 or 4 large potatoes; rinsed thoroughly
1 T orgegano
1 T garlic
1 t salt
1 t pepper
1T olive oil
1/2 large red onion









1. Preheat oven to 450

2. cut potatoes (with skin on) into french fry slices. Slice onions, put into a bowl

3. Combine all seasonings and pour over potatoes, add the oil and mix with hands.

4. Spread them out in a single layer on a large baking sheet covered in aluminum foil and bake for about 20 to 30 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
