Baked Meatballs in Tomato Sauce


Ingredients

1/2 ground hamburger
1/2 ground pork
1/2 c Italian bread crumbs
1/2 c milk
1 egg
2 tbsp garlic
2 tsp italian seasoning
1/2 c Parmesan cheese, grated
1 t onion powder
1 jar tomato sauce (store bought or homemade)
1 c grated cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
salt and pepper to taste




1. In a bowl, add your bread crumbs and milk, and set aside to soak.

2. In a large bowl add meat, cheese, seasonings, and egg, once bread crumb mixture is ready, add that in. Mix by hand until all ingredients are well incorporated.

3. Form roll into golf ball sized meatballs and place in a baking dish.

4. Cook for 15 to 20 minutes at 400ยบ F. Take them out, drain excess grease and poor over tomato sauce, top with cheese and bake and additional 10 to 20 minutes.

5. Cook up any pasta you like and serve the meatballs and sauce over them.
